Service Hopper Lite Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Optimal Pools, LLC ("Optimal Pools," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with Service Hopper Lite (the "App"), a lighter version of the Service Hopper platform focused on local route planning, stop execution, proof photos, and customer handoff through Apple Messages.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Service Hopper Lite. It covers information processed through the App itself. It does not replace Apple's own privacy disclosures or policies for the App Store, iCloud, Messages, Contacts, Photos, or other Apple services.

2. What Service Hopper Lite Does

Service Hopper Lite is designed as a local-first app. It does not require a separate username or password and does not use a custom backend operated by Optimal Pools, LLC for core app data.

Depending on your device setup and permissions, the App may let you:

- create and manage client records;

- store route assignments, stop order, notes, and route progress;

- capture or choose proof photos for a route stop;

- import selected contacts from your device;

- open Apple's Messages composer with a prefilled proof text and optional photo attachment;

- sync supported data across your own devices using the same Apple ID when iCloud is available.

3. Information Stored in the App

The App may store information you enter or choose to import, including:

- client names;

- phone numbers;

- service addresses;

- route days, visit schedules, and stop order;

- gate codes and service notes;

- route progress and stop status;

- execution notes;

- proof photos and proof thumbnails;

- the date and time a proof text draft was prepared.

This information is primarily stored locally on your device. If iCloud sync is available and enabled, supported data may also sync through Apple's iCloud / CloudKit services to your other devices using the same Apple ID.

4. Contacts Access

If you choose to import contacts, Service Hopper Lite uses Apple's native contact picker and imports only the contacts you select.

The App may copy selected contact details such as:

- contact name;

- phone number(s);

- postal address details;

- organization name, when available.

We do not automatically import all of your contacts, and we do not scrape contacts in the background.

5. Camera and Photo Library Access

If you choose to capture or select a proof photo, the App may request access to:

- your camera; and/or

- your photo library.

Proof photos you choose to save in the App are associated with the relevant route stop. If iCloud sync is available and enabled, those proof photos may also sync to your other devices using the same Apple ID.

6. Messages and Proof Texts

If you choose to send a proof text, the App opens Apple's native Messages composer with:

- the recipient phone number you selected;

- a prefilled message body; and

- an optional attached proof photo, if available.

You must manually review and send the message yourself. Service Hopper Lite does not auto-send texts, does not send messages in the background, and does not operate a mass-texting service.

Messages you send are handled by Apple and your carrier. Carrier or messaging fees may apply.

7. Subscription and Billing Information

Service Hopper Lite uses Apple In-App Purchase for subscription billing.

We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details in the App. Billing is processed by Apple. Through Apple's StoreKit tools, the App may check limited subscription status information needed to determine whether your subscription is active and whether app access should be unlocked.

Apple may process payment, subscription, and transaction-related information under Apple's own privacy terms and policies.

8. iCloud Sync

When iCloud is available and enabled on your device, supported Service Hopper Lite data can sync across your own devices using the same Apple ID.

iCloud sync depends on Apple services and your device settings. We do not control Apple's iCloud infrastructure, uptime, or synchronization timing.

If iCloud is not available, the App may store data only on the device you are using.

9. Information We Do Not Intend to Collect Through a Custom Backend

Service Hopper Lite is designed without:

- a custom account login system;

- Firebase for this Lite app;

- a custom cloud sync backend operated by Optimal Pools for route data;

- team account roles or multi-user server-side data storage for the Lite app.

Based on the current version of the App, we do not intend to collect your client records, route data, or proof photos on a custom Optimal Pools-operated server through the App's normal operation.

10. How We Use Information

We use information processed through the App to provide the app features you request, including to:

- save and display your client and route information;

- support route planning and recurring stop execution;

- save proof photos and notes;

- prepare proof text drafts when you choose to open Apple Messages;

- determine subscription access status through Apple's billing systems;

- support optional sync across your own devices when iCloud is available.

11. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information through Service Hopper Lite.

Information may be shared or transmitted in the following circumstances:

- with Apple, when needed for App Store billing, iCloud sync, device permissions, or Apple Messages;

- with your mobile carrier or Apple's messaging systems when you choose to send a text message;

- with service providers or advisors if reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate misuse, comply with law, or support business operations;

- if required by law, subpoena, legal process, or governmental request;

- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets.

12. Retention

Information stored in Service Hopper Lite is generally kept until you delete it, remove the App, or otherwise remove it from your device or iCloud environment.

If you delete specific clients, route data, notes, or proof photos inside the App, that data may be removed from the App's stored records and, where supported, may also be removed from synced copies on your other devices after synchronization.

Deletion timing can depend on your device, iCloud behavior, and Apple services.

13. Your Choices

You can choose to:

- decline contact, camera, or photo library permissions;

- avoid importing contacts;

- avoid taking or attaching proof photos;

- avoid opening Apple Messages for proof texts;

- cancel your subscription through Apple;

- turn off iCloud on your device, subject to Apple device settings and service availability;

- delete data from the App or remove the App from your device.

Some choices may limit app functionality.

14. Security

We take reasonable steps to support the App's intended local-first design, but no app, device, storage system, or cloud service can be guaranteed 100% secure.

You are responsible for keeping control of your devices, Apple ID, and business data, including any sensitive client information you choose to store in the App.

15. Children's Privacy

Service Hopper Lite is intended for business or adult users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through the App.

16. International Use

If you use Service Hopper Lite outside your home country, you understand that Apple services, your device, your carrier, and applicable laws may affect how data is processed or stored.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version with a new effective date. Your continued use of Service Hopper Lite after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the revised version.
